作詞は真璃子自身が手掛け、その言葉に寄り添うように音を紡いでくれた作曲・編曲の新井武人。
1980年代にアイドルとして時を駆けた後、一度距離を置き、2013年に活動を再開。
「あの頃の真璃子に歌わせてあげたい」という思いが「この先の真璃子」を支えてくれるような一曲となりました。

MARIKO’s long-awaited new single “OKAERI NO TOBIRA” is finally set for digital release! She sings with the hope that “the sepia-toned memories of youth will be brought to life in vibrant colors”.
The lyrics were penned by Mariko herself, and the music was composed and arranged by TAKEHITO ARAI, who beautifully wove melodies that echo the heart of her words.
After making her mark as an idol in the 1980s, Mariko stepped away from the spotlight before returning to her musical journey in 2013. This song was born from the heartfelt wish “to let the Mariko of those days sing once more,” and has become a piece that gently supports the Mariko of today and tomorrow.
